In order to carry out essential emergency works between Brunton Rise and Brunton Meadows, the section of foot/cyclepath between Junction 4 and 5 of the Spine Road (highlighted on the plan below) requires a temporary closure.
Works are due to commence on Monday 11th December for a maximum of two weeks, however, the contractor (Esh) will endeavour to complete the works as quickly as possible to minimise any inconvenience.
During the works, a diversion route via Brunton Lane will be in place. The route (solid yellow line) will follow Wagonway Drive to its junction with Brunton Lane and then along Brunton Lane itself – please do take care when crossing the road.
