As the nights draw in and the weather gets a little chillier, the 2026 Winter Coat Appeal is getting underway. Coats you no longer wear can make a real difference during the winter to those families in need.
If you can help by donating a coat, hat, gloves or scarf, they will go to supporting projects in the West End of Newcastle. There will be a collection point at the Great Park Community Centre between Monday 2nd and Monday 9th November. We are looking for items to fit adults and children, please make sure all donations are clean and in good, re-wearable condition.
Keep an eye out for more community projects we will be working on into 2027. For more information, contact Sue at sue.wannop@newcastle.gov.uk or Sandy (GPCC) on Info@greatparkcommunitycentre.com
Thank you as always for your kindness and generosity in supporting our communities across Newcastle.
