Why not start your Jubilee Celebration at the Great Park Community Centre on Thursday 2nd of June. You can drop in any time between 11am and 2pm, and entry is free!
Some of the activities include:
- Arts Adventures will be back with free children’s arts and crafts, including bunting making.
- A professional digital art drop in session for the whole family to capture thoughts inspired by the Jubilee. This will be displayed in the Community Centre after the event.
- Cake making competition to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. This will be be judged on the day by the owner of Vanilla & Dreams, Rebecca Wake. There will be both adult and children categories for the most creative cake. If you would like to enter, please email Sue Wannop at sue.wannop@newcastle.gov.uk to find out more.
- There will be a bouncy castle, hot beverages and a life size cut out of the Queen, so make sure you take a selfie!
