Hedgehog Evening, 28th May

Join a talk from Grace Johnson, Hedgehog Officer of the People’s Trust for Endangered Species.

Learn more about these prickly and allusive animals, followed by a short walk around the Community Centre looking for places you might find hedgehogs. This is an opportunity to connect to the nature on your doorstep and become a citizen scientist, learning how to monitor hedgehogs from your garden!

Event Timings:

1815 – Arrive at the Community Centre to get a drink and a cake

1830 – Talk will begin, lasting 45 minutes

1915 – Optional short (1.5km) accessible walk, lasting 30 minutes

No prior experience/knowledge needed. This event is free and open to everyone, including families. If you do plan to join the walk make sure to bring comfortable footwear.
