With the formal opening of the Great Park Academy, there will be additional demand and pedestrian movements to and through Primrose Lane.
To help alleviate congestion, a newly formed Pick Up & Drop Off area within the existing Park & Ride, plus a new pedestrian route linking both schools to the Park & Ride site, has been created. This is to ensure the safety of all concerned – please see the attached plan (below) for full details.
Please remember there is NO PARKING allowed within the school safety zone. This area is intended to keep the school access routes safe for all pupils and staff. Primrose Lane is also an active bus route with service X47 operating up to every 15 minutes, therefore school traffic must not block safe access and egress at the bus stops.
